What is it?

More than a competition!

FIRST LEGO League is an international STEM programme where teams use robotics, research and teamwork to solve challenges inspired by real-world problems. Participants design, build and programme robots, develop innovative solutions and present their ideas to judges.

Each season introduces a new global theme, from oceans and space to energy, arts and other real-world challenges. Because of that, teams learn something new each year and develop different solutions.
